Crockpot Creamy Chicken
Anything done in the crockpot is an easy fix meal and guaranteed to taste great. This one is just dump and go watch a movie on a winter Saturday afternoon. Have packaged mashed potatoes on hand for no work.
This is such a work-free meal that you deserve a box of recipes like this.
While eating, find another movie, and when finished pull out the knitting.
Life was meant to be lazy on Saturdays when living alone...in the cold.
4 - 6 chicken pieces, breasts, legs and thighs
1 can condensed mushroom soup mixed with 1/2 can water
1 medium onion diced or sliced
salt, pepper, hefty sprinkle garlic powder
Cook 3 - 4 hours on high setting.
When the chicken is falling apart, take out with a slotted spoon.
Into the sauce in the pot whisk 1 can of Libby's Sausage Gravy, (click
if this brand is not in your local store.)
This is very, very good over mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.
It is definitely not a diet supper but who cares when the flavor is
this good. Dieting should not be an everyday thing anyway.
Eat up, and be happy.
